Top Tip For Building a Strong Marriage:
Paige: It's important to have a life together and also be strong as individuals. When you each continue to pursue personal hobbies and interests, it will make you stronger together as a couple. One of the things I recommend that you pursue together as a couple and a family is finding a church home where you can meet other like-minded people, learn and grow together. Remember to have fun together. Find common interests and pursue those activities and adventures together. And laugh as much as possible. Laughter truly is good medicine.
Steven: I personally do not believe that there is truly a single top tip for building a strong marriage. The Bible tells us in Genesis that God knew that it was not good for us men to be alone and that we needed a suitable helper. After failing to find a suitable companion for Adam from all of the creatures formed from the ground, he created one for him from Adam's very own rib. He also goes on to instruct us that we should leave our father and mother and be united to our wife once again becoming one flesh. He does not promise that marriage will be easy, but I recognize that I absolutely need a suitable helper to love, cherish and trust. Besides my personal salvation, I cannot imagine anything being more valuable to me than my marriage, and that makes it worth fighting for.
Something Challenging or Surprising About Marriage:
For our marriage it is rarely the big decisions or major life events that drive the most tiffs between us as a couple, but little insignificant things especially when the actions or decisions are not completed in a collaborative manner.
